Media Literacy Network is created in order to facilitate the communication and consultation between different entities in the country working on raising the level of media literacy of all citizens. It should contribute to more frequent cooperation between the relevant factors and for better and more sustainable results from the projects.
The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services is legally obligated to promote media literacy. In order to achieve this, the Agency connected with policy makers, media, educators and civil organizations via the Media Literacy Network. The Agency realizes some of the activities in cooperation with Network members or with other factors, while other activities are realized without any assistance. The cooperation and consulting process is always open.
