The Media Literacy Network was created in order to facilitate communication and consultation between the various entities in the country that work to raise the level of media literacy of all citizens. It should contribute to more frequent cooperation between the relevant stakeholders and to better and more sustainable project results.
The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (AVMU) has a legal obligation to promote media literacy. To achieve this, she connected with policy makers, media, educators, civil society organizations through the Media Literacy Network. Some activities are carried out by the Agency in cooperation with members of the Network or with other stakeholders, while others are carried out alone. The process of consultation and cooperation is always open.
