ICS presents the first issue of KAIROS, the international scholarly journal of media and communications.
KAIROS is an open access international scientific journal and a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between members of the academic community, researchers, experts, students and other professionals in the field of media and communications.
The magazine will be dedicated to current issues and future trends and developments in media and communication studies, media education, as well as their sociological, psychological, political, linguistic and technological aspects.
In addition to these areas, other texts offering new perspectives and solutions relevant to media, communications, education, strategic management and business are welcome. And they will be considered for publication in future issues of KAIROS.
All texts are subject to a “double blind” review by members of the international editorial board of KAIROS, through which the authors have support to adapt their texts to the best academic and research standards.
The magazine is published as part of USAID’s YouThink media literacy project. It’s a five-year USAID-funded program that works with youth to help them navigate and shape an information ecosystem that informs and engages rather than divides and polarizes. The project is implemented by IREKS, the Macedonian Media Institute, the Institute for Communication Studies and the Youth Educational Forum.
