In the organization of the Youth Education Center and in cooperation with the Club for Youth Issues and Policies, a panel discussion on the topic “Media literacy among young people” was held in the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia on October 29 within the framework of the Media Literacy Days 2024.
The focus of the discussion was media literacy among young people and its current state, with an emphasis on the development of critical thinking and the support of non-formal education.
Special attention was paid to inclusiveness in the media, especially for young people with visual and hearing impairments, as well as the role of political youth in shaping the media space.
The discussion was part of USAID’s “Youth Think” project, implemented by IREX in cooperation with MOF.
