As part of Media Literacy Days, on 29 October, starting at 11:00 a.m., Face to Face will hold a workshop for its vendors and coordinators entitled Who Told You? Face to Face with Information – From Word of Mouth to Social Media.
The workshop will focus on how we recognise, verify, and share information in a world where we are exposed daily to news, posts, messages, and various claims. Through discussion and practical examples, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the differences between verified information, personal opinion, rumours, and disinformation, as well as the consequences of sharing such content further.
By participating in MLD2026, Face to Face reaffirms the importance of access to information and the development of critical thinking among people with diverse life experiences and opportunities. Media literacy should be accessible to everyone, not just those with formal education or a professional interest in the media.
