The public broadcasting service MRT broadcasts a special program “TV classroom” intended for easier mastering of the programs for students in conditions of suspension of and implementation of regular teaching in schools. At the same time, MRT1, within the morning program “Macedonia in the morning”, provides daily information about the pandemic and exposes misinformation regarding the pandemic.
Also, private media – members of the Network – have made additional efforts to cover the topics of Covid-19 in a timely and professional manner, either by giving more space to information from relevant sources within their regular programming scheme (as in the case of Radio Kanal 77), or through the introduction of completely new programs (such as Komano’s local TV Plus, which introduced a live program Studio +) dedicated to interviews with relevant persons, transmission of information from reliable sources, free broadcasting of educational videos from the Ministry of Health and communication with citizens.
