Alsat-M TV hosted a media literacy workshop for its employees within the “CriTink” project funded by the European Union. The in-house training conducted by a team at Diversity Media was attended by journalists and presenters, and discussed caution about hate speech, especially in how news and information is conveyed. There was also an emphasis on the danger of “fake news” being taken over by other media. The participants gave their opinions and experiences on how to deal with these negative phenomena that affect the credibility of journalism, especially on how important it is to verify information before it is released to the public.
