On October 31, a workshop was held on “Artificial Intelligence: Possibilities Risks”, in the premises of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services. The workshop was intended for journalists, editors and media professionals.
Speaking at the workshop were Verena Schneider and Gregor Schmalzried, experts from the Federal Republic of Germany, who underlined that artificial intelligence was becoming more and more important considering the increasing digitalization of all areas of life, and that its potential offered enormous opportunities and significant challenges, but also posed numerous ethical questions. Examples were also shared of using the “ChatGPT” application that creates texts and images that are very similar to what a human may write or photograph.
The workshop was organized by the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services as part of the twinning project for “Enhancing the Capacities of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services and the Public Broadcasting Service” in cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany.
