Skopje, 18 November 2025 – The Association of Journalists of Macedonia will host an event on 19 November dedicated to the safety of media professionals, titled “Protecting Media Workers – On the Ground and Online.”
The aim is to spark a professional and public debate on how to identify and prevent risks facing journalists in a timely fashion, what protection and support mechanisms are available, and what lessons have been learned so far in tackling such incidents. By exchanging practices and recommendations, the event shall seek to contribute to creating a safer environment—both online and offline—where journalists can work freely and without pressure.
The event will be held at Stone Bridge Hotel, from 13:00 to 15:30 hrs.
