How would the new project “Young People Think” help in introducing the media literacy in the curriculum and in the education of the young people, from first grade to university students? Do teachers in the educational system need additional training? What do young people seek, what skills do they need to improve media literacy and critical observation of various media messages? These questions were the subject of the new “In Class” discussion hosted by RADIO MOF with:
- Mihajlo Lahtov, USAID’s “Young People Think” Project Director
- Tamara Kjupeva, research associate at the Institute of Macedonian Literature and high school teacher
- Luka Pavicevic, President of the High School Students Union
The debate was realized within the Media Literacy Days 2021, and broadcasted on November 26.
