Wishing to contribute to the 2022 Media Literacy Days event, the UKLO FM-Bitola University Radio, of “Sv. Kliment Ohridski” University in Bitola, which is part of the Media Literacy Network, aired its latest, 37th, edition of the children’s radio show, “Hear Us Out!”, he worked under the motto “Think critically, Gather the Whole Story”. The goal was to remind the listeners that we are all different, each with our own needs, different perceptions and values, that everyone, children in particular, has the right to be heard, seen and understood.
The show included talented and creative children, children with special needs, young people who had something to say, but also adults who work daily with the youngest to help them solve the problems they face. The guests of our hostess, the eleven-year-old Noela Nechkovska, were Sofija Pechijareska of the “Sv. Kliment Ohridski” elementary school from Prilep, who conveys children’s demands and expectations from the adults through reciting; the young Nina Nedelkova Sonchevina, from the “Kiril i Metodij” elementary school in Bitola, who gives advice on energy efficiency; child psychologist Hristina Stefanovska, who helped with the search of the inner and outer SELF, and there was also the letter from the young Dion from the Aboriginal community in Australia, which we received thanks to Professor Jannet Taskovska. Then Noela and her mother Renata presented a drama text, which is being prepared by the drama section of the Elpida Karamandi elementary school in Bitola, under the guidance of Professor Aleksandar Adamovski. You will also hear the explosive and purest energy of Goraz Kitanovski Kenny.
