Recommendations for ethical reporting on children and youth issued

Within the Media Literacy Days 2021, on November 26^th, the Council of Media Ethics of Macedonia (CMEM) presented the “Recommendations for Professional Reporting for Children and Youth” and held a public session of the Press Complaints Commission.

In partnership with the First Children’s Embassy in the World “Megjashi“, throughout consultations with the professional media and journalist associations, the Recommendations have been prepared in the form of appeals to the media, relying on international codes and relevant documents in this area. In the future, the Recommendations will be used for upgrading the ethical framework and the Code in terms of reporting on these issues and topics. Watch the short video of the event.
