This year, in the period from 22 until 29 November, the Media Literacy Days (MLD 2021) will be held for the third time. This time, the Media Literacy Network is dedicating MLD to children and young people, motivated by the latest developments in the field of media literacy in our country, i.e. the official introduction of media literacy into the primary education curricula, as an approach to teaching – which was, of course, also a result of all previous efforts to promote media literacy among citizens of all generations by means of a number of different activities.
Through MLD 2021, our country is joining in the UNESCO’s Global Week of Media and Information Literacy (24-31 October 2021), which was held for the 10th time this year, and was dedicated to the topic of “Media and Information Literacy for the Public Good”.
