Alsat-M TV hosted a workshop on media literacy for its own employees, as part of the “CriThink” project, financed by the European Union. The “in-house” training that was conducted by a team of Diversity Media, involved journalists and show hosts, and tackled topics such as caution with regard to hate speech, particularly when it comes to conveying news and information. An accent was also placed on the danger of ‘fake news’ that are taken over from other media. The participants shared their own opinions and experiences on how they deal with these negative phenomena that affect the credibility of journalistic profession, stressing the importance of verifying information before placing them in public.
